by mkleit

At First, You’d Think This is Funny… At First!

by mkleit

From Exposing The Truth

At first I thought this was funny….Then I realized the awful truth of it. Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he’s fed.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won’t be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He’s good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he’s laid.

When he’s gone,
Do not relax,
It’s time to apply
The inheritance tax.

STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world… We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class,a huge manufacturing base, and Mum stayed home to raise the kids.

What in the Hell happened? Could it be the lying parasitic politicians wasting our money?
Oh, and don’t forget the relatively new bank charges….
And we all know what we think of Bankers, and that most of these taxes are spent paying for the interest they charge on the imaginary money that they create. Spread this round, share, copy and paste… whatever. Together we are making a difference ♥

25 Reasons to Ask Why? As We Enter 2013

We should always question everything to reach a bottom line
http://www.outsideinview.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/why3.jpg

Why does it seem like America is getting crazier with each passing year?  It has become glaringly apparent that very deep corruption has taken root in our society from the lowest levels of society all the way up to the highest levels of society.  In fact, some of the worst behavior of all is being exhibited by those that are supposed to be “examples” for our young people – politicians, bankers, lawyers, CEOs, etc.

As we enter 2013, the American people are greedy, selfish, boastful, proud, arrogant, disrespectful, ungrateful, materialistic, unforgiving, without self-control and they are completely and totally addicted to entertainment. They believe that America will always be “the greatest nation on earth” just because of who we are, and they believe that the rest of the world should look up to us as a bright, shining example of everything that is good in the world.

Meanwhile, we lead the world in a large number of negative categories and our society is decayingright in front of our eyes.  It reminds me of what happened during the waning days of the Roman Empire.  The Romans just assumed that Rome would always be dominant forever, and they became extremely complacent and extraordinarily decadent.  We all know how that turned out, and at this point things are not looking good for America either.

So where do we go from here?

Well, it might help to ask ourselves a few questions as another year begins.

The following are 25 “why questions” for you to ponder as we enter 2013

  • Why did the New York Times (the most read newspaper in the country) publish an article by a Georgetown University professor entitled “Let’s Give Up On The Constitution“?  What kind of message are they trying to send by publishing that trash?
  • Why is the U.S. government actively supporting and giving aid to Syrian rebels that arebeheading Christians?  Just the other day, Syrian rebels beheaded one Christian man and fed his body to dogs.  The man that they killed had recently been married and was expecting his first child.
  • Why is the U.S. military sending troops to 35 different African nations in 2013?  Can we really afford to be the police of the world
  • Why does California keep doing such stupid things?  On January 1st, more than 800 new laws(most of them ridiculous) go into effect in the state.
  • Why is so much U.S. real estate being bought up by China?  Chinese citizens purchased one out of every ten homes that were sold in the state of California in 2011.
  • Why is Texas Governor Rick Perry resurrecting the Trans-Texas Corridor project?  Does he honestly believe that nobody will notice?
  • Why is the mainstream media ignoring the fact that the percentage of Americans that are against a ban of handguns is at an all-time high?
  • Why is the mainstream media ignoring a recent theater shooting that was stopped by a man with a gun?
  • Why do celebrities that claim to be “anti-gun” constantly make movies that are absolutely brimming with gun violence?
  • Why is genetically-modified rice that has human genes in it being grown in Kansas?
  • Why is the Obama administration working so hard to “force Christians to act against their faith“?
  • Why was a surveillance drone hovering over the Vikings-Packers game at the Metrodome on Sunday?
  • Why did the U.S. government ask the Mexican government to help them increase participationin the U.S. food stamp program?
  • Why does the U.S. government have a website that teaches immigrants how to sign up for welfare programs once they arrive in the United States?
  • If “terrorists” are the threat we are all supposed to be worried about, then why is the U.S. government spending gigantic mountains of money to watch and monitor Americans?  Today, the American people are the most surveilled people in the history of the world.  Why is this happening?  What will our society eventually look like if we keep going down this path?
  • Why is the mainstream media being so quiet about the giant sinkholes that are opening up all over the world?
  • Why have volcanic activity and earthquake activity along the Ring of Fire increased so dramatically as we approach 2013?
  • Why are Protestants losing political power so rapidly in America today?
  • Why does the Obama administration seem so determined to reduce the size of the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal?
  • Why don’t more Americans know about the population control agenda of the global elite?
  • Why are so many workers claiming Social Security disability?  Back in 1967, there were about41 workers for every person on Social Security disability.  Today, there are only about 16 workers for every person on Social Security disability.
  • Why do 77,000 federal employees earn more money than the governors of their own states do?
  • Why does it cost American taxpayers more than a billion dollars to take care of the Obamas each year?
  • Why is Hillary Clinton the most admired woman in America?
  • Why is Barack Obama the most admired man in America?

Do you have any why questions to add to this list?

If so, please feel free to post a comment with your suggestions below…

A synopsis of The Israel Lobby: The Great Benefactor

by mkleit

shared as it is from: Exposing the Truth

“Tell Congress: Spend our money at home, not on the israeli military” stop$30billion.org Los Angeles campaign
http://lebanonspring.files.wordpress.com

This chapter serves to provide substantiation of the authors’ assertions that not only does Isra

el receive more foreign and military aid from the US than any other country in the world, yet that the amount of financial support, along with the conditions and concessions that are packaged up with our monetary gifts, make for quite an inordinate presentation of support in relation to other countries, most particularly in consideration of other countries’ proportional needs for our support.

While the US was supportive of the UN creation of the state of Israel, we also realized that providing overt financial aid of the state’s placement upon Arab lands would be treading on the thin ice created by the murky waters of the Cold War, as Russia and America both realized the importance of cultivating allies in the area.

Accordingly, US economic aid was initially reluctant, and surprisingly enough, John Foster Dulles ¹, of all people, then Secretary of State(and concurrently, killer of children, and conqueror of countries), threatened to rescind our agreement for aid to Israel, if Israel continued its offensive of aggression in the attempted land grab they launched against Egypt that was the Suez Canal War.
Israel agreed to the US’ demands that they stop trying to steal other people’s land and move back behind the established borders of their country, but, as we can now observe to be their usual fashion, Israel never truly lived up to their agreement, and so started their dance of manipulating the US, a dance in which we invariably let them take the lead.

1967 brought the Six Day War, with Israel attacking Egypt, Syria, and Jordan simultaneously. There had been tension in the area, as Russia fed Egypt false intelligence that Israel was going to attack Syria, prompting Egypt to mass its troops on Israel’s border, and exacerbating a dispute over whether Egypt and Syria were able to regulate passage in the Straits of Tiran.

Israel said it had a legal claim to be able to operate in the waters, but when Egypt offered to take the case to the international Court of Justice, Israel flatly refused. It seems like they must not have had much of a case as they said they did, or they would’ve welcomed the offer of taking it to court, and it is no surprise that Israel turned out to be lying once again.
Egypt declared the waters closed to any Israeli ships, and unable to prove its case in court, Israel did what they do even better than lying, and started bombing everybody instead, and taking their land.

Apparently, America liked their “go-getter” attitude in attacking Arab lands, and illegally occupying them, as foreign and military aid increased rapidly after the Six Day War, peaking in 1976, when Israel topped the list of US foreign aid recipients, and they have been at the top of list ever since. They are currently receiving $3 billion a year in foreign aid from the US, which is but 2% of their GDP.

This breaks down to about $500 per Israeli citizen, while much more impoverished countries, with people literally starving, are receiving much less per person in foreign aid from the US, while Israel was ranked as the 17th largest economy out of 187 countries in 2011 by the UN.

The authors’ state that, ‘In 1997, for example, Mitchell Bard, the former editor of AIPAC’s Near East Report, and Daniel Pipes, the hawkish founder of the pro-Israel Middle East Forum, wrote that “Israel has become an affluent country with a personal income rivaling Great Britain’s, so the American willingness to provide aid to Israel is no longer based purely on need.”,

and that, ‘Representative Lee Hamilton said in 1991 that Israel is one of three countries whose aid “substantially exceeds the popularly quoted figures” and said that the figure was closer to $4.3 billion.’ Regardless, as the official figures are stated, as of 2005, Israel had received $154 billion(in 2005 dollars) from the US since its creation, as well as other additional material support. It’s not quite $16 trillion, but that would certainly go a long way towards paying off our deficit, in my opinion…

You would think that anyone would be happy with this kind of arrangement, but Israel is a beggar who demands to be a chooser as well, eventually persuading the US to be the only country to be allowed to receive its aid in one lump sum payment, thereby giving them the ability to earn interest on the money, whereas no other country is given that opportunity.

Because the U.S. government normally runs budget deficits, transferring the aid all at once requires it to borrow the necessary amount of money up front, and the Congressional Research Service estimates that it costs the US “between $50 and $60 million per year to borrow funds for the early, lump-sum payment.”

The authors’ point out that, ‘according to the U.S. embassy in Israel, early transfer of FMF funds has enabled Israel to earn some $660 million in extra interest as of 2004. Israel has also received “excess defense articles(surplus U.S. military equipment provided to friendly nations either free of charge or heavily discounted) beyond the normal limits imposed by the 1976 Arms Export Control Act.’

Israel has also manipulated the US into conceding to provide Israel with “loans” instead of grants, because grants come with pesky oversight committees that Israel would, quite frankly, rather not be bothered with. Israel never pays the “loan” back, and presto!, they have coerced us into giving them a grant with no oversight, which is another exclusive privilege for Israel.

This, of course, means that our money can be used to fund Israel’s efforts to build settlements in the illegally occupied territories of Palestine, or any other number of ventures that the US would not approve of, if we had oversight, as the current line from Washington is that they overwhelmingly support Israel, but do not openly support their building of settlements in what they term to be illegally occupied territories. At least that’s what they say on the record, wink, nudge, while they give Israel $3 billion a year to buy tanks, and fighter jets, and bombs.

The continued list of exclusive privileges that the US accepts the imposition of, is that Israel is not resigned to investing all of the proceeds provided for their military funding in the US. The authors’ emphasize that, ‘The FMF program normally requires recipients of U.S. military assistance to spend all of the money here in the United States, to help keep American defense workers employed.

Congress grants Israel a special exemption in the annual appropriations bill, however, authorizing it to use about one out of every four U.S. military aid dollars to subsidize its own defense industry. “No other recipient of U.S. military assistance has been granted this benefit,” notes a recent CRS report, and “the proceeds to Israeli defense firms from purchases with U.S. funds have allowed the Israeli defense industry to achieve necessary economies of scale and become highly sophisticated.” By 2004, in fact, Israel, a comparatively small country, had become the world’s eighth largest arms supplier.’

The authors also assert, regarding joint military tehcnology resarch and development projects(above and beyond our established aid), that, ‘The United States has also provided Israel with nearly $3 billion to develop weapons like the Lavi aircraft, the Merkava tank, and the Arrow missile.

These projects were funded through the U.S. Department of Defense and often portrayed as joint research and development efforts, but the United States did not need these weapons and never intended to purchase them for its own use. The money that Washington pays to help Israel’s defense industry develop or produce these “joint weapons projects” is in reality another form of subsidy. The United States sometimes benefits from the technology that Israeli firms develop, but America would benefit even more if these funds were used to support high-tech industries in the United States.’

The list keeps growing, as another exemption from US foreign aid policy is that Israel can also accept contracts for military spending for less than $500,000 without any oversight from the US. This financial loophole was utilized in the 1990s by Brigadier General Rami Dotan, the director of Israeli Air Force procurement at the time, to divert and embezzle literally millions of dollars of US foreign aid money. It must be nice to have your own personal US of ATM machine, well, at least until you get caught, that is…

As if all that weren’t enough, every time Israel goes and invades another country to steal their lands, we then have another round of what are called “peace treaty talks”, but should be more appropriately termed, “stop Israel from invading talks.” At these talks, Israel bullies everyone at the table, and holds the negotiations hostage for the ransom of expanding both the amount of aid that they receive from the US, as well as additional exemptions from US foreign aid policy.

That’s a great little scam they’ve got going, once again manipulating the US, in this case, into allowing Israel to establish a pattern of being rewarded for punishable behavior, but of course, Israel remains the perpetual petulant child, and why wouldn’t they, when we consistently cave in to their demands?

The last exclusive privilege that I will highlight in exposing merely the tip of the iceberg of Israel’s exemptions from US policy, is that Prime Minister Shimon Peres revealed that
Israel’s clandestine nuclear program was largely financed by private contributions during the 50s and 60s. The authors’ also mention that, ‘According to the Israeli journalist Michael Karpin, a key coordinator of this fund-raising effort was Abraham Feinberg, a well-connected U.S. businessman, philanthropist, and political adviser, and contributors to the campaign reportedly included Canadian beverage magnate Samuel Bronfman and several members of the Rothschild family.’ ² With the Rothschilds involved, anyone who knows anything about world history and affairs is sure to draw the conclusion that Israel is acting in collusion with the Rothschilds in the Rothschilds’ quest for, quite literally, world domination.

Speaking of Israel’s “clandestine nuclear program”, according to the authors’, ‘When CIA Director Richard Helms came to the White House in 1968 to inform [President] Johnson that U.S. intelligence had concluded that Israel had in fact acquired a nuclear capability, Johnson told him to make sure that nobody else was shown the evidence, including Secretary of State Dean Rusk and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara.

According to the journalist Seymour Hersh, “Johnson’s purpose in chasing Helms- and his intelligence- away was clear: he did not want to know what the CIA was trying to tell him, for once he accepted that information, he would have to act on it. By 1968, the President had no intention of doing anything to stop the Israeli bomb.”

In addition to its nuclear arsenal, Israel maintains active chemical and biological weapons programs and has yet to ratify either with the Chemical or Biological Weapons Convention. The irony is hard to miss: the United States has pressured many other states to join the NPT, imposed sanctions on countries that have defied U.S. wishes and acquired nuclear weapons anyway, gone to war in 2003 to prevent Iraq from pursuing WMD, and contemplated attacking Iran and North Korea for the same reason. Yet Washington has long subsidized an ally whose clandestine WMD activities are well-known and whose nuclear arsenal has given several of its neighbors a powerful incentive to seek WMD themselves.

Israel gets its aid despite its refusal to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty and its various WMD programs. It gets its aid when it builds settlements in the Occupied Territories(losing only a small amount through reductions in loan guarantees), even though the U.S. government opposes this policy.

It also gets its aid when it annexes territory it has conquered(as it did on the Golan Heights and in Jerusalem), sells U.S. military technology to potential enemies like China ³, conducts espionage operations on U.S. soil, or uses U.S. weapons in ways that violate U.S. law(such as the use of cluster munitions in civilian areas in Lebanon).

It gets additional aid when it makes concessions for peace, but it rarely loses American support when it takes actions that make peace more elusive. And it gets its aid even when Israeli leaders renege on pledges made to U.S. presidents. Menachem Begin promised Ronald Reagan that he would not lobby against the proposed sale of AWACS aircraft to Saudi Arabia in 1981, for example, but Begin then went up to Capitol Hill and told a Senate panel that he opposed the deal.’

Apparently, if there are three things that Israel excels at, they are lying to people, bombing people, and then claiming they have the moral high ground, and that they are “defending” themselves, while stealing other people’s land. My scorecard, since the creation of the state of Israel by the UN, says that there have been 11 cases of escalated hostilities, and out of those, Israel has been the aggressor nine times.

This simply rearranges the cyclical logic(or apparent lack thereof), to bombing people, claiming defense and the moral high ground while stealing other people’s land, and then fabricating more lies to cover up the lies they’ve already told.

In summary, the whole of the Middle East is still indeed a Cold War proxy prize, as both Russia and China are threatening to get involved militarily if Israel keeps attacking and invading everyone, yet still the US is proceeding into uncharted territory of the realms of self-imposed ignorance.

America is set on autopilot, asleep at the controls, with a faulty Israeli GPS system navigating us directly towards the murky Cold War waters that could very well end up engulfing us in World War III, in the most extreme example of how it is not in our best interest or wisdom to blindly follow Israel’s influence simply to retain an ally that keeps creating more enemies for both of us…

Ron Paul: The Truth in the Farewell [Video]

by mkleit

Ron Paul’s Farewell Speech

An amazing 50min of truth out of the mouth of former US presidential candidate Ron Paul during his retiring from Congress speech after a huge in the Republican Primary election. The farewell speech contained strong feelings and imposed many questions to the US government and its policy; calling the Americans that they live in a “Culture of Violence” and the violence is justified… Just a little of what he said.

Identity and Difference: Stalled Nationalism in the Lebanese Republic

by mkleit

by Jay A. Gupta

In the streets of Beirut, one notices a preponderance of Lebanese flags—hanging out of windows, on cars, in doorways, on buildings. A nationalist gesture, it paradoxically signifies the opposite. Both the “opposition” and government supporters are equally zealous flag wavers. Meant to signify the universal of nationalism, the flag in fact symbolizes fragmentation and impermeable particularity. In this sense, the flag truly represents Lebanon.

It is difficult to imagine what a “united” Lebanon would be. There is a deep and chronic lack of acknowledgement of genuine otherness. In order to unite, there first has to be acknowledgement and tolerance of genuine difference. Lack of respect for boundaries seems to be a nationwide difficulty, seen at both the individual and collective levels. One is indeed tempted to demand a theory—psychoanalytic, speculative, or otherwise—of social boundary malformation. From traffic patterns, to interpersonal relations, to sectarian violence, Lebanon is beset with problems that appear diagnosable in such terms.

The Lebanese Flag Done by Activists

At the individual level, it does not seem to be particularly inspired by belligerence that people do not recognize lines in banks and airports, or do not honor norms of basic courtesy such as reflexively yielding partial passage on sidewalks and in doorways. These seem rather to be microsocial, sensuous indications of broader social attitudes that fail to recognize the genuine existence and autonomy of others. I believe that, at the highest cultural level—politics—these attitudes achieve their full expression and significance in and as sectarianism.

Freud tells us that it is the artifact of narcissism, of infantile entitlement, to act as though one’s boundaries extend indefinitely outward into a thinned out world. This idea suggests the evil twin of a benign, ideal multiculturalism; the ideal pictures many different kinds of people from many different backgrounds gathered and living peaceably together. But this picture presupposes real acknowledgement of the other.
The Lebanese live among each other, but notwith each other. Individuals in Lebanon belong to and are defined by sects, and each sect is its own normative bubble, each with its own particular internal logic that is unconsciously believed to have universal normative significance. This appears related to a strong sense of sectarian superiority and entitlement, each with an absolute sense of the validity of its own normative identity.

Clearly, at the political level, Lebanon is not the scene of a serene “identity within difference”. However, it is not the presence of mere difference among such sects that creates the catastrophic potential of a slide into full-blown civil war, nor is it an a priori belligerence or inclination to violence. Under less strife-ridden conditions than those that exist presently, Lebanese of different sects form lasting friendships, have productive business associations, and otherwise appear to get along. Then what is the psychology of difference that pertains here?

For there to be a real potential of “identity within difference”, there first has to be substantive acknowledgement that difference exists. One would think that, given the history of political chaos and violence here, along with the simple sensory fact of sectarian differences (just walk around the university), such acknowledgement would be a given. But I am beginning to infer that it is not only not given, it is absent. What is this psychology of difference? It is a psychology that maybe imagines that such difference exists, but somehow paradoxically doesn’t really believe it.

Lebanese activists wearing a V for Vendetta mask during a No War protest in Martyr square, one holds the sign of “War again? seriously?”

The level of normative self-absorption within each sect creates an expansion and envelopment of the public sphere, so that while lip service may be paid to difference, no one actually cognizes or experiences it. Genuine otherness is regarded as totally insubstantial, even if present, something like the ambient humming noise in a computer room. So when the other suddenly emerges as something more than something unobtrusively liminal, dwelling at the edges of consciousness, the potential for conflict is immediately realized. That is arguably why opposition and conflict always comes “without warning”; it “erupts” (to use some of the favored media descriptions).

It would be deeply counterintuitive to suggest that the Lebanese do not recognize the real divisions that exist within their society. I am not suggesting that they do not, but rather that when they do, it is too late. The veneer of social normalcy (a phenomenon in Lebanon that deserves a book-length treatment) is a veneer that plasters over these real, divisive differences, and interprets them in inappropriately benign ways. When there is not open conflict, it is as if the nation exists in a wholesale state of denial, flattering itself on its cosmopolitanism and multiculturalism.
Real dialogue geared towards mutual understanding must begin with substantive acknowledgement of genuine difference, and it is perhaps only such substantive acknowledgement that can forestall violent conflict. Indeed, at the legal-political level of “power-sharing” there does seem to be this sort of substantive acknowledgement. However, an uneasy détente institutionalized in legal-political structures between intractable enemies, each with an absolute sense of normative entitlement, ought not to be conflated with the unity of purpose, sensibility, and vision that is the hallmark of successful democracies. Perhaps Lebanon is the living argument for the thesis that religion ought, at all costs, be separate from politics.

The Uprising of Women in the Arab World

by mkleit

Left to Right: Malak, Sara, Fatima, Camilia, Mhamad, Asma

The Uprising of women in the Arab world is a righteous campaign to free the Arab woman, and hopefully every woman, from the constraints of being disrespected, belittled, inferior, unaccepted, abused, discouraged, streotyped, and generally unfree because of the patriarchal society we live in.

Asma is a Lebanese girl that has been locked behind her veil in the job market, because most media companies did not accept her since she’s veiled.
She represents a huge sample of Lebanese women that are being discriminated for such an outer appearance and inner belief.
We have reached a time that our capabilities are forced to a halt because of what we believe in and we stand up for!

Stand up for a cause that concerns our mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters!

Respect to all uprising women!

A Thought of Mind: Were 300 Iranians dead? or killed?!

by mkleit

“The Obama administration said Tuesday that it would expedite applications to help Iran’s earthquake victims. Prospective donors have expressed worry and confusion over whether such charitable aid runs afoul of the extensive American sanctions imposed on the country because of its disputed nuclear program… More than 300 people were killed, and thousands left homeless, in a double earthquake that struck in northwest Iran on Saturday. A third quake struck the area on Tuesday”New York Times

Iran has been suffering international sanctions because of its nuclear program. In a simpler way, it’s on the other side of the field alongside Palestine, Syria, Bahrain, Afghanistan, China, North Korea, Russia, and Hezbullah and its allies in Lebanon.

Nevertheless, The two earthquakes that struck Northern West of Iran were a bit fishy, especially after the Obama administration’s statement. USA wants to help Iran? I don’t deny humanitarianism, but since when did any US government convey a humanitarian message for a foreign country such as Iran without having a political-military agenda under the table.

Check:

  •  the Gulf war: operations desert storm and desert shield; USA and its allies established military bases all over the gulf, especially in KSA and Qatar.
  • Iraqi war; the purpose of the war was claimed to be about “weapon of mass destruction” although it made huge profits for Bush family’s oil companies.
  • Afghanistan’s invasion: Afghanistan own 90% of the world’s poppy fields
  • Vietnam’s war: Vietnamese discovered high quantity of Uranium on their lands
  • and so many more, research False Flag Operations

Watch this video to know about the first two Iran earthquakes:

HAARP, as explained in a previous blog post, is The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (abbreviated as HAARP) is a joint research venture funded by the United States Air Force, the United States Navy, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the University of Alaska.

The project was started way back in 1993, with the aim of analyzing the ionosphere, in order to assess the potential of developing it to further enhance the radio communication and surveillance technology. The HAARP Research Station – the facility where this research is carried out, is located at a US Air Force site in Alaska.

A high power radio frequency transmitter is used to excite a specific portion of the ionosphere for a temporary period.

The following insight was intriguing:

A Thought of Mind:

by mkleit

Operation Mind Control
